NRI murder case: Pawandeep’s story

Pawandeep’s story – From creche caretaker to a wanted criminal
Pawandeep and Jaskaran got married around 14 years ago. Jaskaran was found murdered on the outskirts of his native village Swara on March 16 this year.
From an undergraduate caretaker in a creche, Pawandeep Kaur’s arrogance made her the mastermind behind the murder of her Non-Resident Indian husband.
Once used to be a shy person, Pawandeep wanted divorce from her Canada-based husband, Jaskaran Singh (38). However, Jaskaran did not give divorce to his wife for the sake of the future of their children.
Pawandeep has five sisters and a brother. All her six sisters are settled in Canada.
Her brother has recently completed his bachelor’s in laws and want to migrate to Canada.
Pawandeep was not well educated and she went to Canada with the help of her sisters.
“She (Pawandeep) met Jaskaran in a store and after an affair for two week, they got married. Earlier, Pawandeep used to be a caretaker in a creche, as she did a crash course in the field. She was an undergraduate and studied up to Class XII and did a crash course for six months in Canada,” added an officer associated with the investigation of the case.
