Punjab Revenue Minister Bikram Singh Majithia said that Kejriwal should read rich history of Punjabis, who have always stood for the values and truth. He once again dared Kejriwal to come forward for day to hearing in the defamation case field by him in the Amritsar court. Mr. Majithia said that Kejriwal and his aides are a gang of liars who have a habit of making false accusations for getting news coverage but when brought to Hon’ble court, they were gone desperate for early bail. “Punjabis have given a befitting reply to Kejriwal on the day of hearing by thronging in large numbers, and compelled him to retire to hills to recover from this “illness”, he quipped.
Majithia said that Kejriwal and his aides does not have any knowledge about the culture and problems being faced by the Punjabis and they don’t have any sympathy with the farmers, traders and other segments of the society in Punjab. He said that Kejriwal has one point agenda that was too to gain power in Punjab by making fake promises as well as playing divisive politics.
Majithia said that AAP’s destructive politics was aimed to disturb peace of the state but the brave Punjabis were fully aware of such tactics and will teach a lesson of life to this “Hit & Run” party. Majitia said that SAD-BJP will not let anyone disturb hard earned peace of the state and would fight elections on the sole agenda of development and form government for the third consecutive term. Majithia reiterated that SAD-BJP alliance’s main agenda was to keep intact peace, maintain communal harmony and taking the development of the state to newer heights.
Bikram Majithia thanked Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal for fulfilling the long pending demand of the people by making Majitha a Sub Division. Majithia said that about 2 lakh people of 93 villages of the area would be benefitted from Majitha Sub Division. He further said that Majitha was already established as a Model City with setting up of large number of infrastructure development projects.
