Minutes before entering the court for a defamation-case hearing, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal dared his accuser, Punjab revenue minister Bikram Singh Majithia: “Arrest me in six months or I will arrest you after coming to power in Punjab in six months.”“Bikram Majithia and the Badal family have destroyed Punjab by pushing it into drugs. Every section of society is distressed over the menace,” Kejriwal said, standing atop a truck and addressing Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers outside Circuit House. “I dared to say it a few months ago and Majithia filed a case against me. He wants to frighten me but I am not the man to be scared of the Akalis or their tactics.”
Hitting out at Delhi chief minister and Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab revenue minister Bikram Singh Majithia said Kejriwal will not escape the clutches of law by getting bail in the defamation case filed against him. “It is a matter of ‘aaj bail, kal jail’ (bail today, jail tomorrow) for this arrogant leader,” said Majithia, who has filed the case over AAP leaders’ drug-peddling allegations against him.
