Khaira took notice of Chief Minister Badal and Captain Amrinder’s claim that the apology and visit of AAP leaders to Sri Darbar Sahib is mere a political drama. He said AAP has tendered apology from Sikh Sangat and Akali-Congress leaders have no right to comment over it. Moreover the comment insults Lakhs of Sikhs who visit Sri Darbar Sahib every day.
Commenting on the SGPC’s role in taking action against Sukhbir Badal for dishonoring ‘Kesh’ during holy function, Khaira said that why the SGPC didn’t question the action of Shiromani Akali Dal chief.
Khaira said that the moment AAP leaders realized that they have committed mistake during ‘Youth Manifesto’ releasing programme they immediately tendered apology from Sikh Sangat. In this regard AAP National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal will be Visiting Sri Darbar Sahib on July 18 to apologize for the mistake committed by his party.
