Police VS Gangster – Live Encounter

Noida: A dreaded sharpshooter of the erstwhile Sunder Bhati gang, wanted in Noida BJP member Vijay Pandit’s murder case, was arrested by the police after a brief shootout near Samrat Gujjar Chowk in Greater Noida (west)’s Milak Lachi village area on Saturday.
Police said Ankit Gurjar carried a reward of Rs 50,000 on his head and was wanted in 22 criminal cases, including six murder cases, in UP. The special task force of the UP Police had arrested him in November 2014, but he managed to flee from police custody on April 26 this year while being taken for a hearing.
One of his associates, Sanjay Gujjar, was also nabbed by the cops during the encounter, while two other criminals managed to give cops the slip. Two country-made revolvers and a silver-coloured WagonR, in which the four were travelling, have been seized.
Cops said Ankit sustained a bullet wound on his left leg during the encounter. He is, however, out of danger and currently recuperating at district hospital.
